I had an EPIC day today! I got the honor of previewing Universals newest park Epic today! It was incredible! I could have spent all day in the new Harry Potter portal! Super Mario feels like you stepped right into the game! So much fun for all ages!

Epic Universe is the first major new theme park to open in the United States in 25 years! I received some incredibly exciting news! I get to be one of the lucky few to get a sneak peek before the Grand Openning! Stay tuned in the next few weeks as I get to check it out and bring you all the news about Epic Universe!

Southwest Airlines has updated their policies- in A LOT of ways. Unfortunately they have taken away what they are known for best for > Bags Fly Free.

Sad Day for all of the SWA flyers out there…
Here are the details:

Today we announced updates to some of our policies and benefits within our fare bundles. Sharing them with you is important to us, as we’re working to offer you more choices to create travel experiences that fit your needs.

Updates to Checked Baggage Policy
We will offer two free checked bags to Rapid Rewards® A-List Preferred Members and Customers traveling on Business Select fares. We will also offer one free checked bag to A-List Members and other select Customers. In addition, Southwest will credit one checked bag for Rapid Rewards Credit Cardmembers. All remaining Customers will pay to check their first and second bags, and we will continue to charge for the third and fourth checked bags. Changes will apply to flights booked on or after May 28.

Updates to Our Fare Bundles
We're updating the benefits of our fares bundles in phases. Whether you’re looking for a lower price with fewer perks, or more benefits for added flexibility, you’ll have the choice to pick what works best for your trip.

Phase 1: Beginning this month, we increased our Rapid Rewards earn ratio on our Business Select fares and lowered the earn ratio on our Wanna Get Away® and Wanna Get Away Plus™ fares. We will also begin to vary our redemption rates across our fare products on some high- and low-demand travel periods.

Phase 2: Beginning May 28, we will introduce a new Basic fare. This new Basic fare will be our lowest price point and will have less flexibility than other fares. Additionally, we will be adding expiration dates to our Flight Credits, which will vary based on which fare you choose to purchase.

The chart below gives you a full picture of the revised fare products as of May 28, 2025, ranging from most flexible to value-first.

We recognize these changes may be a disappointment to some, but know we’re committed to building a Southwest that will continue to offer you low fares, convenient flights to destinations you want, and a travel experience that is rewarding. 📣 Big announcement from Disney today! 📣

🗓️ On July 24th, there wil be a new way to plan ahead. Genie+ 🧞‍♂️ will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Individual Lightning Lanes will become Lightning Lane Single Pass. No need to worry! Pack Happy travel advisors are already hard at work learning the new system and will make sure our guests are prepared! 🙌

Lightning Lane Multi Pass
When guests purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, they may make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in a theme park, in advance of your visit. They’ll also be able to choose available times as they make their selections. On the day of their visit, once they use a selection, they may check the My Disney Experience app for availability to make an additional selection.

Lightning Lane Single Pass
Lightning Lane Single Pass will work much like it does today, where guests can secure a time to ride one of our most highly demanded attractions, but they’ll now be able to make their purchase and plan in advance.

How to Plan Ahead
Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels (Shades of Green Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels) will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance. These advance purchase windows will let guests secure some of their must-do rides and experiences after they've had some time to decide what dining reservations they want to book and any other plans they may need to consider.

Guests may purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, a Lightning Lane Single Pass or both. The app will also be updated to make it quicker and easier to purchase and plan, with fewer steps and a new option to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass in one transaction.

Happy birthday to the world’s most famous duck and Mickey’s fantastic feathered friend, Donald Duck!

Donald Duck first appeared in the cartoon The Wise Little Hen on June 9, 1934.

I’ve loved visiting Donald Duck over the years at Walt Disney World. You can currently meet him at all 4 parks and the following character dining experiences:

🍽️ Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park offers Guests the chance to dine with Donald Duck and his pals dressed in their safari gear during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

🍽️ Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort takes Guests on a European culinary adventure with Donald Duck and friends during Breakfast à la Art.

🍽️ At Disney's Contemporary Resort, you'll find Donald Duck and pals dressed in their adorable chef outfits at Chef Mickey's during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

🍽️ Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort allows Guests to dine alongside Donald Duck and pals in their colorful beach attire at Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast.

My personal favorite version of Donald Duck can be found at EPCOT in the Mexico pavilion as one of The Three Caballeros- olé!
