Celebrating 15 years of providing transportation services in the Valley, Snoqualmie Valley Transportation (SVT), a project of Mt. Si Senior Center in North Bend, Washington, has been a valuable community resource since its establishment in 2003. Mt. Si Senior Center developed a successful project with the partnership and support of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, King County Metro Transit and Washington State Dept. of Transportation (WSDOT).
With a vision of enabling all Snoqualmie Valley residents the opportunity to reach their destination via transit, SVT’s goal is to be an integral part of a strategic plan for sustainable, safe, affordable and convenient transit in the Snoqualmie Valley.
This local, private, nonprofit service provides residents with a reliable means of getting to medical appointments, the grocery store, school, parks, work or to local entertainment spots. SVT’s success is driven in part by their dedication to connect people with places, help people stay socially active and to help their community by making sure that residents get to where they want to go in an easy, friendly and inexpensive way.
SVT goes the extra mile to meet the different needs of riders.
As the Valley population grows, SVT will continue to grow, helping an ever-growing population of riders reach their destinations. SVT does rural right.
