Olio della Donna was a finalist for Leone d’Oro’s best oil from a small producer, Guido Brogelli was awarded best monovarietal, thanks to Alessio Mugnaini mayor of Montespertoli for the shout out, thanks to and Leone d’Oro for the honor and forza Poppiano 💪🏼

Somebody had a busy morning. Sausages, anyone? I think I’ll make a new itinerary for 2026 called Hidden Tuscany and include a visit with Gianni the butcher. His grandfather opened the shop in 1926 (whence the signage), there will be quite the party for their 100th birthday. Who wants to come along?
