A Christmas Continental SHOPPING trip to Cite Europe where there is a very large Carrefour Supermarket and then on to Adinkerke for chocolate supplies. Just £59 per person,collecti g payment at the time of booking. We will be travelling with Careys Transport Ltd in one of their luxury coaches and DFDS Ferries. Whilst onboard you will be given a voucher for each crossing so you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast outwards and dinner on the return journey. Various pick up points around Thanet, Deal and Dover (for people from Herne Bay we will be picking up at St Nicholas roundabout). Due to a great day on the last charity shop trip I've been asked to do another one and by request go back to Bexhill where there's LOADS of Charity shops. Remembrance Commemoration Trip To Ypres Monday 10th of November. Coach and Tour £60. We will be leaving Thanet by 6am and travelling via DFDS Ferrys. Vouchers for a complimentary full English breakfast outbound and a complimentary meal on the return journey will be given to each passenger. Our day will include visiting War Grave Cemeteries and then heading to Ypres for the Menin Gate Service. There will be free time to visit the bars, restaurants and chocolate shops in Ypres before the 8pm service. The 2 year restoration project at the Menin Gate has now been completed so the usual service will take place. If you are intending to present a wreath at the service please let me (Horace) know at the time of booking. I have invited local Mayor's and Dignitaries to join us to present wreaths at the service. If you are booking for 'Disney On Ice- Find Your Hero' at the O2 on Saturday 3rd January 2026 matinee performance, I will have coach travel with Careys Transport Ltd. This is luxury travel. Coach places Adults £35 and under 16's £30. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. Various pick up points around Thanet, Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable. Leaving Thanet by 9am. New Date For Holland Trip- Saturday 13th September. £56 per person includes coach and ferry travel breakfast onboard on the way and dinner on the ferry on the way home. Travelling with Careys Transport Ltd and DFDS Ferries.
Sluis is the nearest place in Holland to Belgium just over the border. In Sluis there's many lovely bars and restaurants, a Windmill, lots of shops and an indoor market selling fresh produce hams and cheeses.
