🇺🇸 Happy Sunday my friends!

I recently posted that Paris metro signs are as iconic to the image of Paris as the Eiffel Tower.

How about Parisian bistro chairs? I think they’re just as iconic and even more charming.

I actually never noticed how unique and different all these chains are from one restaurant, cafe, bistro to the next. Honestly, I did not plan this out. I just search through my photos looking for bistro chairs and no two are alike.

These chairs await us. They invite us to come, sit, relax, have a drink, a meal, chat with a friend, read a news paper or a book, or just watch the world go by.

I accept the invitation. Who’s joining me?

J'ai récemment posté que les panneaux du métro parisien sont aussi emblématiques de l'image de Paris que la Tour Eiffel.

Et les chaises de bistrot parisien ? Je pense qu'ils sont tout aussi emblématiques et encore plus charmants.

En fait, je n'ai jamais remarqué à quel point toutes ces chaînes sont uniques et différentes d'un restaurant, café, bistrot à l'autre. Honnêtement, je n'avais pas prévu cela. Je viens de parcourir mes photos à la recherche de chaises de bistrot et il n'y en a pas deux qui se ressemblent.

Ces chaises nous attendent. Ils nous invitent à venir, s'asseoir, se détendre, prendre un verre, un repas, discuter avec un ami, lire un journal ou un livre, ou simplement regarder le monde passer.

J'accepte l'invitation. Qui me rejoint ?

🇺🇸 Happy weekend my friends!

I’m grateful for the floral shops that brighten my walks on gray Paris days. These floral shops adds to the charm and romanticism of what we love about Paris.

I used to think that flowers were just for special occasions to be gifted by a loved one. But in Paris I’ve come to learn that flowers are for every day that I can buy for myself.

Come to think of it, I think I will go out and buy some flowers now. 💐 Stay tuned to my stories to see what I get.

Je suis reconnaissante pour les boutiques de fleurs qui égayent mes promenades les jours gris de Paris. Ces boutiques florales ajoutent au charme et au romantisme de ce que nous aimons à Paris.

J'avais l'habitude de penser que les fleurs étaient réservées aux occasions spéciales offertes par un être cher. Mais à Paris, j'ai appris que les fleurs sont pour chaque jour que je peux m'acheter.

En y repensant, je pense que je vais sortir et acheter des fleurs maintenant. 💐 Restez à l'écoute de mes ‘stories’ pour voir ce que je reçois.

🇺🇸 Another perspective of Palais Royal from rue de Beaujolais

This street may not be noticed much because it’s on the back side of Palais Royal, but here you will find some interesting places.

📍At No 17: Le Grand Véfour is an old restaurant in Paris frequented by Napoleon Bonaparte and Joséphine, Victor Hugo, & Colette.
📍 Théâtre du Palais-Royal which was initially inaugurated in 1637.

🇫🇷 Une autre perspective du Palais Royal depuis la rue de Beaujolais

Cette rue n'est peut-être pas très remarquée car elle se trouve à l'arrière du Palais Royal, mais vous y trouverez des endroits intéressants.

I love small independent bookstores and I always make time to visit as many as I can.
is definitely my favorite bookstore in
Paris.

Aside from being an iconic landmark in Paris, you can find all your favorite books in English. And if they don’t have it in stock, they can order it for you.
