At this time of year, the rose hedgerow comes alive with blossom. It’s a mix of pale pink brambles and pink roses. The birds love it, we love it and guests love it but I don’t like pruning it.

Well, we have some amazing news! Finally after 9 months of trying, we have fibre! No one likes working in holiday, but this makes it a bit easier! So if you need to take a zoom call or stream a film, it’s much smoother! Just don’t make it too obvious to your colleagues stuck in the office!

Thank you for the photo. This tree blooms at Easter; First the flowers, then the leaves. It’s next to the terrace and the birds love the seed pods which means that not only can you enjoy the beautiful flowers and view but you also get to listen to the spring time chatter of the birds.

We are thrilled to be selected by Sawdays for their collection. One of the reasons is so special is the pace of life it offers. We love the idea of going to the market, picking local produce then preparing a feast for everyone. The only downside is that the market closes at 12, (it’s lunch time obvs! ) Get your skates on, it’s worth it. What’s your favourite thing to buy at the market…?
