Bardolf Farm - The overnight fog remained until 0930 which made the counts tricky! Some Greylag Geese (17) were grounded this species has been uncommon this year with neighbouring sites having good numbers. There was an increase in Chiffchaff (11) feeding along rivers. Mediterranean Gulls (13) moving NE and Snipe (3) on the water meadows.

Bardolf Farm - A perfect day for raptors and the calm sunny conditions did not disappoint with the highlight a Red Kite (Milvus milvus) that lingered around Green field until mid afternoon at least.

Bardolf Farm - A productive afternoon on the farm. A Barn Owl started the afternoon off followed by a fly through Merlin low over North field. At dusk I reverted to my new thermal imager producing a bobbing Jack Snipe and a couple of Tawny Owl at Green Field.
