Riverhead Retreat - Accommodation A beautiful three bedroom home, set in the heart of the historic Riverhead village. The house sleeps six, with two queen beds, and one king.

This beautifully renovated 1920s bungalow has a gorgeous open plan living area perfect for entertaining or relaxing. The sunny deck is peaceful and private, a great place to enjoy a glass of local wine at the end of your day. The beautiful clawfoot bath in the second bathroom is a fantastic place to unwind. Set in the heart of historic Riverhead, Riverhead Retreat is well positioned for an enjoyab

le stay. The Riverhead Tavern is a short walk away (280m) and Hallertau Brewery a short drive (you can also walk if you wish). The Hunting Lodge winery and restaurant are a ten minute drive, and you can purchase an array of beautiful food and drinks from Boric Food Market (a 5 minute drive). Local village Kumeu also has a supermarket and other shops, and NorthWest Shopping Centre is 11 minutes by car. Studio Black is a gorgeous homewares store just a few minutes walk from the house, with Lulu's Espresso Airstream serving fabulous coffee right beside it. There is also a local dairy, restaurant and liquor store located on the main road of Riverhead (just a short walk from the house). The gorgeous Catalina Bay Farmers Market are an easy 19 minute drive, and you can pop into the Little Creatures Brewery and Restaurant while you are there. A bottle of local wine is provided on arrival, as are Nespresso coffee capsules so that you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while relaxing on the deck.
