Exbury House is known for over 200 acres of glorious woodland gardens showcasing an exuberance of rhododendrons and azaleas in spring and a fiery blaze of colour come autumn. The gardens were established by Lionel de Rothschild in the early 20th century, when he also remodelled the 18th century country house at the heart of the estate.

The Rotunda is very special, very spacious, and very different.
There are the gasp-worthy views. Some windows look out over the gardens, others across expanses of lawn and woodland to the sparkling waters of the Solent with the Isle of Wight beyond.

This impressive, spacious, light-filled Edwardian family home is a great base for multi-generational and family get-togethers whether you’re celebrating or just hanging out. 🚀 Our B Corp Goals: This Year & Beyond! 🌍

As comes to a close, we’re looking ahead - because being a Certified B Corporation is all about continuous improvement and bigger impact. 💚

🌟 Our Top Goal for 2025: Being a B corp is just as much about the small every day decisions as the large impactful, headline grabbing big ideas.

Anyone running a small business knows how many little decisions are taken daily and actually it's these that can add up. My goal is that all the team at New Forest Escapes consider our B Corp and business values when taking each and every one of those decisions. That way, we will automatically, without thinking, influence our home lives, those people that spend time around us and more.

🥕70% of food waste happens at home - that’s 4.5 million tonnes of perfectly good food binned every year in the UK!
🍞 The average family could save £700 a year just by wasting less food.

Our story so far...

For 10 years we have been offering New Forest holiday houses and cottages. Big, small, luxury, eccentric, seaside and forest... We’ve gone from 1 house in 2011 to nearly 20 now.

Our eclectic homes are set up for tranquillity, family adventures and big celebrations. We love sharing ideas to make your stay memorable – some eccentric, some lavish, some challenging, some for the price of a packet of marshmallows...

Our little company is run by a great team of women who come from all walks of life and who love and live in the area.

The New Forest National Park is a wilderness of heathland, ancient woodland, river valley and coast. Just 2 hours south of London. It is perfect for a relaxing escape and a perfect New Forest cottage holiday.
