In celebration of International Women's Day, Kensington thanks travelers like you for helping women and girls obtain the education and healthcare needed for a brighter tomorrow.

Working with Mara West Foundation, Kensington has contributed to infrastructure development that improves the lives of at-risk women and girls in rural Kenya, opening doors for future generations.

Every trip booked helps support life-changing initiatives like the community's first high school for girls and a Maasai primary school. Both continue to grow with the development of new learning spaces, teachers' housing, and student dormitories – making locally accessible education a reality and protecting countless girls from early marriage.

This year, Oloosinon Primary School continues to break through barriers, with girls making up 51% of students attending the school. Meanwhile, enrolment in Kensington Hall Oloosinon Secondary School has increased by 34% year-over-year.

As for healthcare, together, we've helped hundreds of women access safe childbirth options and women’s health support in the Maasai community. From ambulance services to new clinics, medical equipment, and quality care, countless women and girls are benefitting from life-saving medical support each and every day.

“My husband was a pilot, so travel has always been an important part of our lives.
