We are now home…it was a real reality check…a 60C degree temperature swing…at least we had 11 days in Cabo😊

This was the sister resort, Villa del Arcos in Cabo San Lucas, next door to the one we stayed in (the earlier pics). This suite is a 2 bedroom, with the one bedroom being a lock off. These pics are of the main 1bedroom suite, with the full kitchen, dining table, living area, and deck. It also includes in suite laundry. A very spacious suite that is well appointed. We have stayed at this resort a few years ago, and we loved it.

This suite is available for rental as a 1 bedroom as well and does not have to be paired with the 1 bedroom lock off.

Later, I will post pics of the 1 bedroom lock off that makes up the balance of this 2 bedroom suite.

Today is laundry day. I love having an insuite washer and dryer, especially for stays longer than a week! This gives us the option of packing less clothes. We can pack for 1 week, and then wash what we need for a longer stay. Another option that some like is going home with clean clothes. Either way, it’s so convenient!

The drink is a mango margarita, poolside. This is my favourite, go to drink in Mexico! I love how the sunlight plays on the water💖

Our last full day here, then home to -30C…..our reprieve from our winter will be over, as we fly out tomorrow. When we get home, spring is not far off (a month or 2 away) when the temperatures gradually warm and the earth springs to life. It’s so nice to break up the winter months with our holiday!

Today’s big adventure….a couples massage in the spa! Lunch will be our last on the meal plan, then we will clean out the fridge and make and package lunches for our plane ride home.

These are pics of La Estancia resort in Cabo San Lucas. The first pics are the entrance, then the lobby (with concierge desks - for checkin and info), the view from the lobby to the ocean (with 2 hot tubs on that level), the lower level with the pools, restaurants, swim up bar, and 3 more hot tubs Oceanside, and the loungers and umbrellas on the beach. This is the private, second room of the suite we are staying in at La Estancia, Cabo San Lucas. This second room is more modest than the main suite, with 2 queen beds, and 1 full bathroom - no kitchen facilities.

This second room is intended to be used as a very private area, while sharing the main living areas of the main suite and deck. This allows for 2 families vacationing together to each have personal private spaces, yet still spend time together.

There are different layouts/configurations of 2 BR suites available. This is one possibility.

Stay tuned, as I will later post pics of this fabulous resort (pools, beach area, etc). I will also post pics of the 2 sister resorts on either side of La Estancia, which are also available for booking/rentals.

It’s been a few days since I’ve posted….sorry, we’ve been enjoying the sun, sand, surf and food🥰

Please remember that all the properties I post here are available to book and rent from us.

This is our home for our 10 day stay in Cabo San Lucas. For right now, I am just sharing the pics of our luxurious room in Villa La Estancia. Pics of the resort will come later 😊 These are one side of a 2 bedroom unit. The deck is shared between both rooms. This is set up for 2 families that also share the kitchen/living area of the main unit. These provide plenty of privacy for both parties.

All inclusive is available, but this time, we booked the meal plan only (alcohol not included), just to try that out. We have had some tasty mocktails, but also have our own alcohol in our suite. We are on the meal plan for 6 out of our 10 days, which we find to be plenty. The minimum for any of the plans is 3 days.

There are 2 sister resorts on each side of La Estancia - Villa del Palmar and Villa del Arcos. We visit those resorts to use their on-site restaurants, as well as the ones at La Estancia and to participate in activities available at each one. The morning stretching classes are wonderful!

Each of these resorts offer a different vacation experience, price points and luxury levels. There truly is something for everyone!

We had one full day in Las Vegas. There are so many options of what to do! What did we choose?

The world championships for bull riding are being held this week in the equestrian arena at the South Point Casino and hotel - right next door to The Grandview at Las Vegas - where we are staying, so of course, we checked that out! It was the first day of this event. They were rating the bulls, which was interesting!

We went shopping at the South Outlet Mall and bought a couple of things.

We bought a few groceries for supper. Hubby even bought ice cream, and we had to eat it all that night, as we were leaving early the next morning…

We went to a huge antique mall. It was absolutely jam-packed with wonderful treasures! We just did a quick browse through this time. We had never been in here before, so we wanted to check it out. It will take me at least a whole day to see everything, and maybe 2 days…definitely on my list for our return.

After supper, we spent some time relaxing in the hot tub, meeting other guests and visiting.

We didn’t even make it to the strip to see everything new there! The weather was gorgeous! 30C! And still warm in the evening. I loved it!

There is a new experience that I wanted to do, but we didn’t have time this trip. It is the Arte Museum, located on the strip. Definitely not your usual museum! Check it out, it looks incredible!!!

We are at one of our homes away from home here - The Grandview at Las Vegas. We have stayed here many times over the years. It is right next door to The South Pointe Casino.

We are in a 2 BR suite, which is actually 2 one bedroom full suites that have a single shared entrance. Soooooo much room, comfort, and privacy!

A great location close to the south outlet mall. A short drive or cab to “the strip”.

You could stay here as well! I will post the cost of these suites in a later post

Our next trip will be to Las Vegas for a couple of days.

We will be staying at The Grandview Las Vegas, next to South Pointe casino. We have stayed here many times over the years and always love it!

We’ve been home now for about a week, straight back to work…

I just wanted to include the pics from our last full day in Fairmont, BC, and area to showcase more possibilities of what this area offers.

Since this is such an easy 6 hour drive from where we live, we are already thinking that we will return. Leave in the morning, stop for lunch halfway, and arrive at checkin time. Perfect😊

The pics are of the town of Invermere and Lake Windermere - which has a spray park in the park by the public beach.
