📍On top of the Pidurangala Rock, in Sri Lanka. In my opinion, hiking to this rock and seeing the lions rock from far away was more worth it than hiking the Lions rock. It was also much cheaper to enter (about 3$) than the lions rock (about 30$). It was perfect for sunset. Just respect that you have to pass a temple on the way up so you have to cover your shoulders and knees. (They have scarfs you can borrow without paying any extra money).

🇪🇸 📍Encima de la roca Pidurangala, en Sri Lanka. En mi opinión, subir hasta esta roca y ver el lions rock desde lejos valió más la pena que subir al lions rock. También era mucho más barato entrar (unos 3$) que el Lions Rock (unos 30$). Fue perfecto para el atardecer. Simplemente respecta que hay que pasar por un templo al subir así que tienes que cubrir tus hombros y rodillas. (Tienen bufandas que puedes prestar sin pagar).

One of the most iconic places of Sri Lanka. You can find the Nine Arch Bridge in a small little town called Ella. Definitely not miss out on this place because next to the bridge it’s a town with some beautiful waterfalls and compared with other places it have a lot of nice restaurants and small bars. ich wollte unbedingt eine Tour im Regenwald machen. Ich bin die Nacht zuvor krank geworden und hab mich mit aller Kraft auf den Weg gemacht und hab es bis zum Ende (dieser schöne Wasserfall) durchgezogen 😊 wir haben so viele Tiere gesehen: Vogelspinne, Riesenskorpion, Chamäleon, giftige Schlagen und und... Die Natur war so krass und es hat sich so gelohnt. Es gab soooo viele Blutegel - aber wir sind verschont geblieben.... Tipp: die Schuhe mit Salz einreiben 😆 und alle paar Minuten kontrollieren und nur auf dem Pfad laufen. Wie schön war bitte unser Pool von der Unterkunft mit dem Blick auf den Regenwald (Bild 9) 😍
