Beech Mountain is in great shape, so plan your return visit to support the Town of Beech Mountain!
Beech can't be beat 🏔️✨ As we enter our fourth week post-storm, we are thrilled to report that power has been restored, our roads are open, and our water is safe to drink. Our local businesses are up and running and Beech Mountain Ski Resort is preparing to kick off their winter season on Friday, November 29th.
As you make your plans and prepare to venture to Beech this winter, we ask that you travel cautiously, responsibly and safely. To assist you, we've created a safe travel checklist, below ⬇️ Be sure to save this post!
1️⃣ Check North Carolina Department of Transportation's road map for closures throughout the High Country.
2️⃣ Prepare to alter your travel route and account for longer travel times.
3️⃣ Be mindful of outdoor conditions, check for any major weather updates/changes and stay up-to-date on local alerts.
4️⃣ Stay up-to-date on the latest Beech happenings by calling our Visitors Center at (800) 468-5506.
5️⃣ Shop, eat and stay local! Our town's businesses are open and looking forward to serving you.
