A nice little reminder of a really nice little place that you can go relax, recharge, breathe in sweet beach air!

Ocean front - watch the waves from the balcony and sleep in the king master suite. Full kitchen and bar area so you can have room to cook OR go out to the many restaurants that are in walking distance. It's just a whole vibe!

Put your toes in the sand and a cocktail in your hand! We have beach chairs, beach umbrella and towels in the condo for you to use!

What is your favorite travel item?

Especially for a 20+ hour combined work flight I have coming up? So far I love my sweatshirt with zippered pocket for passport and hanging foot rest for long flights. What must-haves does Amazon need to send me for this upcoming trip?

Seattle was fantastic! I've been here exactly twice and it didn't rain either time! I feel like I should buy a lottery ticket.

Our son has worked at Starbucks for years, so of course it was fitting to visit the first ever Starbucks and bring him back the original Pike Place blend that's only sold at their flagship original store. They were being wholesome as usual and handing out free coffee to the construction workers that morning. Pikes was getting a bit of a face-lift so there was road work being done, which meant the normal half mile long line to Starbucks that I saw last time wasn't long and we got right in.

Bought the world's best asparagus from Sosio's Produce ... purple asparagus tastes like sugar snap peas! Tasted smoked salmon and salmon jerky. Had a very yummy dungeness crab omelet for breakfast.

Visited the iconic (and quite disgusting) gumball wall... I'll post some video of that later... couldn't capture the smell thru the camera tho. You're welcome.

Beautiful views - flowers, foods, nice people. It was a great day! We stayed at the Marriot on the waterfront and it was a 5 minute walk to Pike Place Market - perfect!

A day in Ketchikan, Alaska. Walked nearly the entire town, it's so quaint and the weather is perfect. The Salmon Walk, Creek Street, we saw the salmon ladder and a hatchery, had salmon for lunch, saw the city park and walked all the wonderful trails.

Pictures don't show the magnitude obviously. We weren't sure what to expect when going to see a glacier... but we rounded the corner and the entire view was this huge, blue-white gorge of ice being held back by invisible nature.... kinda cool. We ditched the paved path and walked along the beach the whole way taking it all in. There was a massive waterfall that little snow flurries were flying out of and the sounds of water were just exploding with gravitational force. Truly epic. We rented a car and drove early to beat all the tour busses, it was so peaceful!

Alaska is so completely serene... and cold.  Beautiful views from our balcony!! We are taking a much needed break before the busy summer starts.  

Today we saw the Tracy Arm Fjord and so many waterfalls flowing from the massive snow capped mountains.  It's quiet and so peaceful.

We have hiking planned in Skagway and Juneau, and can't wait to check out the cute little towns of Ketchikan and others.

It's only day 2 and already surreal.  AND still working. Why Wait has taken several reservations this week as the summer begins to fill up. So SO thankful!
