Mawabenyo'ng Katoliko, atong hinumduman nga ang Simana Santa usa ka balaan ug makahuluganon nga panahon sa atong espiritwal nga pagpanaw isip mga Kristiyano. Kini usa ka pagpahinumdom sa walay sukod nga gugma sa atong Ginoong HesuKristo, nga mitugyan sa Iyang kinabuhi aron luwason kita gikan sa sala ug ihatag ang kahayag sa bag-ong kinabuhi.

Ang Simana Santa dili lamang panahon sa pagpahulay o paglingaw-lingaw, kondili usa ka dakong oportunidad alang sa paghinuktok, pag-ampo, ug pagpasalamat sa grasya sa kaluwasan nga atong nadawat. Hinaot nga sa pagsaulog nato niining balaan nga semana, mapalig-on pa ang atong pagtuo, mapalalom ang atong pagsalig sa Ginoo, ug mapasig-uli ang atong kasingkasing ngadto sa Iyang kabubut-on.

Wala ni'y release sa Kwarta pero naay ni'y release sa inyong kadaugan sa inyong kinabuhi.

— All girls are requested to assemble in front of Gonzaga Residence.
— All boys are requested to assemble in front of the MMDRRMO Building.

The devotees of Mawab gathered in solemn ritual and reverent celebration of the Holy Mass at San Roque Parish Church this evening, in observance of Black Saturday — a sacred day of silent reflection, commemorating the time Christ lay in the tomb, as the faithful await the glorious dawn of His resurrection.

While I was parked along the Daang Maharlika Highway, a few motorists pulled over and approached me, asking if there were any gas stations still open nearby. I gladly gave them directions, and they thanked me with warm smiles.

Before driving off, one of them looked around and said, “Mawab has really changed a lot, hasn’t it? Everything looks so much better now — especially the roads.”

In that simple exchange, I felt a quiet sense of pride. It was a beautiful reminder of how far our town has come — from a place often overlooked to a community now growing, thriving, and welcoming travelers with open roads and open hearts.
