It’s Festival Estival, the unique Anglo Spanish get together this time to enjoy the delights of the beautiful mediterranean city of Valencia. A weekend full of cultural and gastronomic activity with visits to the superb city monuments and most important of all a programme of night-time shows with front rank stars of flamenco, opera, zarzuela and jazz…

…And enjoy Valencia’s beautiful sunshine, her

beaches, her architectural treasures and all the nightlife in an ideal ambience with an international group. In Valencia, temperature in early July is well-nigh perfect. The average high is 27º, the daily mean temperature is 22º, and the low (night time temperature) is 18º so ideal for beach and sightseeing during the day and perfect for the paseo and street cafes at night. This is the Festival Estival Family, a new style of cultural tourism! Do you really want to lose this opportunity?

¡Ya estamos en marcha! Festival Estival comienza a andar en una iniciativa en la que por primera vez ingleses y españoles conocerán Valencia de una manera diferente. Un fin de semana lleno de actividades culturales, gastronómicas, visitas a monumentos de la ciudad y principalmente, un programa de actividades nocturnas con estrellas de primera fila del flamenco, la ópera, la zarzuela y el jazz...

…Y disfrutar del buen tiempo de Valencia, de sus playas, monumentos y de todo lo que nos puede ofrecer la noche en un ambiente ideal y conociendo gente de distintas nacionalidades. La temperatura a principios de julio ofrece noches perfectas. Con una temperatura media elevada de 27º, una mínima diurna de 22º y una mínima nocturna de 18º, el clima es ideal para disfrutar de la playa y realizar visitas turísticas durante el día, así como pasear y disfrutar de las terrazas por la noche. Esto es Festival Estival, ¡una nueva manera de hacer turismo cultural! ¿De verdad vas a perderte esta oportunidad? Del 4 al 7 de julio más de 150 ingleses llegarán a Valencia dispuestos a disfrutar de este evento socio-cultural en el que la música, la gastronomía, el fútbol y el buen ambiente serán la nota dominante. Final event from Festival Estival. Flamenco Show inspired by the Generation of 1927, the era of Federico Garcia Lorca, of Alberti, of Bunuel and Dali, of Manuel de Falla and the Argentinita, who amongst others, drove the new cultural movement in early 20th century Spain. This Company pays homage to the vibrant authentic new wave of that time most particularly with the haunting violin of Victor Guadiana.

Último espectáculo del Festival Estival. El espectáculo flamenco se inspira en la Generación del 27, la era de Federico García Lorca, Alberti, Buñuel y Dalí, Manuel de Falla y la Argentinita, quienes, entre otros, dirigieron el nuevo movimiento cultural de principios del siglo XX en España. Este espectáculo rinde homenaje a aquella generación vibrante y auténtica, especialmente con el evocador violín de Víctor Guadiana.

Mágica noche la vivida el sábado en el IVAM, donde pudimos escuchar a la brillante soprano Amparo Navarro y al aclamado tenor Javier Agulló, quien junto al gran pianista James Baillieu, ofrecieron un brillante concierto ante un público entregado. ¡Gracias a todos por vuestro entusiasmo! ¡Fue un éxito!

Magic nigth what we lived saturday night in the IVAM, where we heard to the brilliant soprano Amparo Navarro and the acclaimed tenor Javier Agulló, who in collaboration with the great accompanist James Baillieu, offered a really great concert with a delivered audience. Thanks to all for your enthusiasm! It was a success!

Hoy es el gran día en el Festival Estival. Esta noche, a las 22.30h. tendremos el placer de escuchar a la soprano Amparo Navarro, al tenor Javier Agulló y al pianista James Baillieu en un concierto sin igual en el IVAM. Institut Valencià d'Art Modern. Ópera, zarzuela y temas de West Side Story para tan sólo 200 personas y en un espacio con una acústica única. Todavía quedan entradas, pero pocas. Podéis comprarlas en el IVAM antes del concierto. ¡Os esperamos!

Today is the big day at theFestival Estival. Tonight, at 22.30. we will have the pleasure of listening to the brilliant soprano Amparo Navarro and the acclaimed tenor Javier Agulló in collaboration with our our favourite piano accompanist James Baillieu at a concert in the IVAM.
