Meet the Endangered Candy Darter, one sweet Appalachian fish we'd like to see more of! 🍭

This lollipop-colored fish is found in cobbly, higher gradient streams in Virginia and West Virginia. During their spawning season, they'll bob up and down, looking for each other! 👀

One way you can help this particular darter (and other native fishes) is NEVER to release fish from your bait bucket. 🚫
