The Mossel Bay Municipality, as part of its GROW strategy focuses on growing the environment. In light of this, the municipality supports all efforts towards conservation and takes hands with liked-minded organisations and groups to create and preserve a sustainable environment.

To learn more about conservation groups, organisations, projects and initiatives in the greater Mossel Bay, make a point of attending Conservation Day on 26 April from 09:00 tot 13:00, held at the Mossel Bay Town Hall. The event is coordinated by the Mossel Bay Conservancy Forum NPC.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓?

The following Conservancies, NGO’s, NPO’s and other relevant organisations will exhibit on the day:
• Gouritz Cluster Biosphere Reserve,
• Gourikwa Reserve,
• Fransmanshoek Conservancy,
• Dana Bay Conservancy,
• Midbrak Conservancy,
• Great Brak River Conservancy,
• Mossel Bay Municipality – Waste Management,
• Mossel Bay Municipality – Rescue & Disaster Management,
• SMART (Stranded Marine Animal Rescue Team),
• SAPREC (Seabird and Penguin Rehabilitation Centre),
• Birds of Prey,
• Biosphere Enviro Solutions, & others.



𝐓𝐄𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐃𝐈𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐌 𝐀𝐀𝐍 𝐕𝐈𝐑 𝐁𝐄𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐆
Die Mosselbaai-munisipaliteit, as deel van sy GROei-strategie, fokus op die groei van die omgewing. In die lig hiervan ondersteun die munisipaliteit alle pogings tot bewaring en neem hande met eendersdenkende organisasies en groepe om 'n volhoubare omgewing te skep en te bewaar.

Om meer te wete te kom oor bewaringsgroepe, organisasies, projekte en inisiatiewe in die groter Mosselbaai, maak 'n punt daarvan om Bewaringsdag op 26 April vanaf 09:00 tot 13:00 by die Mosselbaai Stadsaal by te woon. Die geleentheid word gekoördineer deur die Mosselbaai Bewarea Forum, nie-winsgewende maatskappy.
