Very exciting 3-tank long range yesterday. Sites: Twin Sisters, Purple Pants Pinnacles (you heard me), Driftwood. Goldlace nudis doing their spring-thing (making more goldlace nudis), enormous tiger cowry pretending night was upon us, the calmest turtle EVER, big whitetip reef shark cruising, teeny purple leaf scorpionfish doing it's best impression of a leaf wedged in a coral head, fire dartfish (yay!!!) darting,

Two stellar dives yesterday! Sites: Suck 'em up & Eel Cove. Two turtles doing their turtle things, a couple of octopuses playing hide & seek Kona style, two juvi rockmover wrasses being all flimsy, a peacock flounder out for a Sunday swim, a BIG whitetip reef shark up-close and personal with an attitude...

Three tank long range was bliss today! Sites: Twin Sisters, Henry's Cave & a one way north from Outhouse. Octopus sitting on a nest, flashing up a storm, crazy cave-dwelling creatures such as pipefish, nudibranchs, cowries, lobsters, shrimp, cusk eel, wonderful reef dwelling creatures such as devil scorpionfish, speckled scorpionfish, frogfish, omilu stalking the reef, whitetip reef sharks, hawksbill turtle...

What a night dive last night! Dive site: Eel Cove. Crescent octopus, short armed octopus, ornate octoups, myriad cowries out and about, MONSTER slipper lobster (and little ones too), spiny lobster all skittish, sleepy turtle, tiger moray hunting, two eared sea hares (oh-so-cool), spanish dancer, jeweled anemone crabs, and thick plankton.

Today's dives: Pyramid Pinnacles & Carpenter's (aka Wacky's): Hunting parties everywhere, octopus madness, mantas on both dives (3 at Carpenters!!), 2 whitetip reef sharks (one of them quite big), white margin nudibranchs with eggs, VERY LARGE ulua and a turtle swimming right through the arch at Pyramid Pinnacles.
