We were incredibly lucky to witness an amazing show of the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, during our stay.

A device from the hotel buzzes to alert guests when the lights are visible to ensure you don’t miss the show.

Did you know?

Finnish Legend tells us the Aurora Borealis is a fire fox racing across the sky.
The Finnish word for the Aurora is revontulet, which means fox fire. In Finland, they believe as the fox's tail touches the ground; it sparks and glows and as he leaps and bounds into the night the fire spreads to the sky.

⏰ This morning hasn’t been quite as planned, I’m sure you’ve heard about the Heathrow closure and disruption to travel due to the power outage 💥

We’ve been on the case since 5.30am when we woke up in our Heathrow overnight hotel… luckily all my clients are OK and checking that is always our priority.
But there’s been a change of plan to our trip to Lapland… ✈️

🚖 We’ve taken a taxi to Euston station for a train to Manchester airport.
Hopefully our rebooked flight to Helsinki will depart this evening for an overnight at the airport.
And tomorrow we’re booked on a very early flight to magical Lapland! ❄️

A group of Travel Counsellors was always going to come up with an alternative plan in the face of adversity, let’s hope Plan B works and we’ll be back on track!

A real case of planes, trains and automobiles!!

And in the meantime we have amazing pistachio pain au chocolate from and strong coffee from outside Euston station 😊

🇫🇮 I’m super excited to be packing my bags for this weekend as I’m visiting Lapland! ❄️

As you may know, this is one of my favourite destinations to visit myself and so I love to arrange magical holidays here for my clients to also experience this wonderful destination.

✈️ I’m really pleased to be invited on this trip with a group of TC colleagues and have the opportunity to visit some different resorts and properties as well as take part in some snow activities with our fantastic travel partner 🌎
