Just getting home after 5 incredible days at Walt Disney World! ✨

I had the opportunity to stay at the Polynesian Island Tower (bucket list resort!!!!), spend time in the parks, try some amazing dining locations, reconnect with friends, and experience a few things for the very first time.

My camera roll is full, my feet are tired, and my brain is overflowing with thoughts, tips, and memories from this trip!

Over the next few days, I’ll be sorting through photos and gathering my notes so I can share more detailed recaps from each day, including resort impressions, dining reviews, park updates, accessibility observations, and some of my favorite hidden gems from this visit.

For now, enjoy a few of my favorite moments from the trip. ❤️✨

And if there’s anything you’d like me to cover in my upcoming recaps—whether it’s the Polynesian Island Tower, dining, transportation, Lightning Lanes, accessibility, or anything else—drop your questions below!

Also, please note that some of these photos are courtesy of Disney Photo Pass! 💛

When you stay at your bucket list resort, what else would you do? Of course I got a dole whip every single day I was here.

There are MANY reasons to book with a travel advisor, but here are a few, real talk, options of why you should.

I know there’s a LOT of conversation right now around AI in the travel world. I get asked all the time: “What can you do that AI can’t?”

Honestly? A lot. 🤍

AI can give generic suggestions, outdated information, or flat-out incorrect answers (yes… it happens WAY more than people think). But a real travel advisor gives you real experiences, up-to-date information, personalized recommendations, and actual human support when things don’t go as planned.

Your vacation is an investment. It deserves more than copy/paste answers from the internet.

I’m here to help make travel easier, less stressful, more accessible, and more YOU.

Following this trend! Want one of your own?

chat gpt prompt: Please draw the character in the uploaded images, (your name) in a loose, expressive sketchbook illustration style. Use a bright white background filled naturally with scattered drawings — full body poses, face close-ups, tiny doodles, handwritten notes, exaggerated expressions, chibi/deformed versions, outfit sketches, movement studies, and personality details. Make it feel messy, playful, and artist-driven — like an illustrator’s personal sketchbook page, not a clean organized character sheet. Capture humor, quirks, energy, style, and personality.

Growing up in a Disney family, there’s just something therapeutic about going back.

What is your earliest memory of Disney?!

What are yours?

Nobody warned me that one of the biggest things at Epic Universe was going to be… the STAIRS.

As someone who talks a lot about accessible travel, this is something I really wish I knew ahead of time. Between attractions, pathways, and different lands, there were way more stairs than I expected throughout the day. Thankfully there are elevators and accessible routes available in many areas, but it definitely took a little extra planning and awareness.

This isn’t me saying don’t go — because Epic Universe is absolutely incredible and I recommend everyone to experience it — but it is your reminder that accessibility looks different for everyone, and knowing these little details ahead of time can make a huge difference in your experience.

If stairs, mobility, fatigue, chronic pain, or stamina are something you have to consider while traveling, definitely keep this in mind while planning your trip. The magic is still there… just maybe pack a little extra patience (and comfy shoes).

Have you been yet?! What’s something nobody warned YOU about before visiting Epic Universe?

Tonight, we gathered for our Travel Advisor Appreciation team call and honestly, talk about a Zoom meeting where we could leave with our hearts full.

We started by sharing “magic moment” shout-outs: client wins, thoughtful feedback, first-time bookings, accessibility wins, happy travelers, and those little moments that remind us why this work matters.

Then we talked about the parts of being a travel advisor that clients don’t always see: the research, problem-solving, time investment, care, mental load, advocacy, reminders, behind-the-scenes work, and the many, many hats advisors wear to help clients feel prepared, supported, and excited.

Because while a client may see the quote, itinerary, or final travel documents, they don’t always see the dozen options reviewed before the best ones were presented. They don’t always see or understand the accessibility requests, the supplier calls, the extra research, the troubleshooting, or the care poured into helping their vacation go smoothly.

And then I asked our team what they appreciate about one another. Their answers said everything:
✨They appreciate the support.
✨The kindness.
✨The knowledge-sharing.
✨The encouragement.
✨The “we are not in competition” mindset.
✨The way this team shows up for each other in the highs, lows, and in-betweens.

We ended the night with a hilariously ridiculous Travel Advisor Mad Libs game, because if you can’t laugh together while building businesses and serving travelers… what are we even doing? 😂

To our team of independent travel advisors: thank you. Thank you for the heart, care, curiosity, professionalism, and joy you bring to this work. What you do matters, even when it happens quietly behind the scenes.

I’m grateful for this team and the magic we’re building together. 💜 ~Denise
