Our vacation in Tanzania was truly an unforgettable experience, and so much of that can be attributed to Askari Safari and our incredible guide, Priscus. Kathy was absolutely wonderful to work with! She listened to us and then crafted the most amazing itinerary! She continuously checked in on us and made the planning process seamless! She took care of everything from transportation, accommodations and experiences.
Once we arrived in Tanzania From the moment we met him, we were struck by how kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable he was. His passion for the wildlife and culture of Tanzania was evident in every story he told and every detail he shared. He was incredibly considerate of our needs, making sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the trip, and his expertise ensured we never missed a moment of the magic around us. On our game drives, Priscus made sure we saw every single animal on our bucket list. He had an incredible and expert ability to read animal behavior and position us in the perfect locations to see absolutely everything we were hoping to see.
The accommodations were just as outstanding. Honeyguide was a highlight, where Lightness and her team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The level of service and warmth we experienced there made us feel like we were at home, and the food was absolutely delicious.
Equally memorable was our time at Serengit. Chris, Christopher, Hasbat, and Janet were a fantastic team that truly enhanced our stay. They were all so accommodating, friendly, and attentive, and the food was also exceptional. Every dish was prepared with such care and attention, making every meal something to look forward to. We also had wonderful experiences staying at the Plantation Lodge and the Arusha Coffee Lodge.
This trip exceeded all expectations, and we left with not just incredible memories, but also a deep appreciation for the beauty of Tanzania and the people who made it all possible. If you're considering a safari in Tanzania, we cannot recommend this experience enough—it was truly the trip of a lifetime!
