Many thanks to Stephanie Lee and the team for hosting Neil & his wife Lisa last week to celebrate their wedding anniversary and road test St Andrew’s newest Hotel. Boutique (only 28 rooms ) the property is very much the service and detailing truly excellent. The position a sand wedge from the R&A Clubhouse and the 18th Green/ 1st tee on The Old Course doesn’t get much better for golfing aficionados. What a bonus is part of the dining offering. Having stayed at it’s sister hotel in Portrush this pairing are going to form a strong presence in the golfing landscape for a long time and like BWG will push boundaries and standards.

This photo captures the special moment at the end of a round of golf when you collectively come together as a group of golfers and caddies, embrace and shake hands. Having shared 3 or 4 hours together you will likely to have had a thorough personal examination (physical and mental) in full view of your fellow players/ caddies revealing perhaps something of yourself to them. New friends made and old bonds strengthened.
Then back to for a drinks and cocktails on the balcony overlooking the course. Video and still by

The Bravo Whisky Golf Story

Neil and Paul met at Aberdeen University over 20 years ago, although on different courses and in different years- a connection was made.

The idea behind Bravo Whisky Golf was born (like all good ideas) over an glass of fine wine in Chamonix whilst on vacation with a few friends enjoying one of our other passions- skiing.
