📸 IT’S BEEN ONE WEEK SINCE RACE DAY!

And we are SO ready to relive every moment from the 2026 Cultus Lake Triathlon.

The smiles. The grit. The finish lines. The volunteers. The “why did I sign up for this?” faces. 😆 Our photographer caught it all.

The full race day photo gallery is officially LIVE!

Find yourself, find your friends, and tag us when you share your favourites and don't forget to give photo credit to the talented photographer Liam Dueck. We want to see them!

One week later and we’re still smiling. Thanks for an incredible season finale, Cultus! ❤️

A RACE DAY NOTE TO OUR CULTUS LAKE, CHILLIWACK + ABBOTSFORD COMMUNITIES 💙

This weekend, we’re grateful to once again welcome athletes from across BC and beyond to race through the communities that host the Cultus Lake Triathlon.

Events like ours get to happen because we’re able to share these roads and spaces for a few hours — and we know that comes with some impact for the people who live, work and travel here.

This Sunday, September 20, 800+ athletes will be racing, which means you’ll see bikes and runners on roads throughout the Cultus Lake, Chilliwack and Abbotsford areas.

If you’re travelling through the area Sunday morning:

🚴 Watch for athletes on the bike course. Please give cyclists space and pass only when it is safe to do so.

🏃 Watch for runners. Athletes will also be sharing portions of the roadway and pathways around Cultus Lake.

🚦 Traffic control will be in place at key locations along the course. Please follow the directions of traffic control personnel and course marshals.

⏱️ EXPECT DELAYS. Please plan ahead and allow some extra time if your Sunday morning travels take you through the race area.

We sincerely appreciate the patience and support of the residents, businesses and visitors who share their communities with us for race day.

And if you happen to see our athletes out there — a wave or a cheer goes a long way. 💙

GOT PLANS SUNDAY? YOU DO NOW. 😉

We’re putting the finishing touches on our race-day volunteer team for the Cultus Lake Triathlon and still have room for a few more good humans.

Come spend Sunday morning with us helping 800+ athletes get to the finish line. 💙

We have a handful of opportunities around the event site and out on course — helping athletes find their way, keeping courses clear, handing out medals at the finish line, post-race food and generally being one of those people who makes race day better.

No triathlon experience required. We’ll give you the information you need, point you in the right direction and take good care of you.

Perfect for:

🙋 Individuals who want a front-row seat to race day
🙋‍♀️ Friends or family coming to cheer
🎓 Students looking for volunteer hours

📅 Sunday, September 20
📍 Cultus Lake

Come join the team → https://dynamicraceevents.volunteerlocal.com/volunteer/?id=115466

Because 800+ athletes may cross the finish line on Sunday, but it takes a whole lot of people to help get them there.

IT’S RACE WEEK. 👏

One last start line. One last finish line. One more incredible weekend before we put a bow on the 2026 Dynamic Race Events season.

This Sunday, 800+ athletes will take over Cultus Lake for the 2026 Cultus Lake Triathlon, and we are READY.

Sprint + Standard Triathlon
Standard Aquabike
Standard Duathlon - 2026 BC Provincial Championships
Sprint Aquathlon
Relay Teams

Race week homework: Go back to that Athlete Guide we sent you last week and READ IT! 👀

And while you’re checking things off the race-week list, double check that you’ve registered for your Annual or 1-day Triathlon BC membership.

The training is done. Race plans are being finalized. Bikes are getting one last check. And somewhere, someone is already obsessively checking the weather forecast.

Five sleeps.

Whether this is your first start line, your goal race of the season, or another chance to do what you love with a pretty great multisport community, we can’t wait to welcome you to Cultus Lake. 💙
