US Chess Membership required.

Louisiana Chess Assoc. scholastic or family membership may be paid on-site.
*Scholastic players of all ages playing in their first rated event; unrated players may choose either this

section or the section for their grade level.

Scholastic players may enter the open Louisiana Championship by taking a bye in Rd 1 of that event

chess rate includes $22 value breakfast voucher for 2 registered guests in each room.

The Louisiana State Chess Championship is next weekend (Labor Day Weekend), (Sep 2-4), in Lafayette, Louisiana. Advanced/Online Registration is open NOW. Please see the Flyer attached to this email, with all of the details.

The Tulane Quick Championship will be held October 14th at Tulane University in New Orleans. A Flyer for the Tulane Quick Championship is also attached.

Saturday - Monday, September 2-4, 2023 in Lafayette, Louisiana

7 Round SS, USCF and FIDE Rated

Anticipated Round Times are:
Sat 10 am, 2:30 pm, 7 pm
Sun 10 am, 5 pm
Mon 10 am, 3 pm

There will be a Sunday Night Blitz Championship.

Online/Advanced Registration to follow.
