50 States Before Age 50

#50: Alaska - The Final Frontier

It's only fitting that the last stop on my quest to visit all 50 states before age 50 end with Alaska, The Final Frontier!

I spend the day sightseeing in Downtown Juneau before stopping at a couple of cool eateries for dinner and drinks.

#49: New Mexico - The Land of Enchantment

The next spot on my quest to 50 brought me to New Mexico. This state did not disappoint! After touring the beautiful city of Las Cruces, I stopping for a bite to eat at the Taqueria Chavez food truck before driving back to El Paso for more sightseeing.

#48: North Dakota - The Peace Garden State

North Dakota was the last of the newly visited states for me so we did more sightseeing before arriving at Dakota Magic Casino right across the state line. This was home for the night before driving to Minneapolis, Minnesota to close out our trip.

#47: South Dakota - The Mount Rushmore State

After brief stops in the previous states, we spend a great deal of time in South Dakota. We didn't get to see Mount Rushmore but the rest area had a nice replica. We then went to Sioux Falls which was amazing!

#46: Iowa - The Hawkeye State

Iowa was next on the list! Unfortunately the only picture we took of the sign from the interstate 🤷🏿‍♂️ We did stop at the Horseshoe Casino in Councils Bluff for a little action before moving on to our next destination.

#45: Nebraska - The Cornhusker State

The next stop on our journey took us to Omaha, Nebraska. This was a brief stop to tour downtown and take a few pictures.

#44: Kansas - The Sunflower State

After flying into Kansas City, MO and having lunch with a good friend, we drove across the state line to the great state of Kansas. We rode in circles trying to find the Kansas state sign on the interstate and kept driving back and forth from Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri! We finally found a historical marker to commemorate the visit.
