Definitely our last show of the season! We took JADE out this time she is usually the dressage queen.
Made up the numbers at the Shetland Pony Championship show where the MMS had a ring. Jade came home with 2nd in hand and won the NF championship (long time since we had 3 foresters in a class at a show like this. She then won her ridden and was Red Champ.
Loooong day left home at 6.50am and got home at 6.50 pm. Nice classes for us just needs a bit of tweeking and it won't be so long another year.

At LOMONDSIDE STUD. DRYMEN

We intend to.put ALL the tack , rugs , bridles, bits and stuff out in our barn to sell that we now no longer need. We have several saddles too . You could bring horse with you and try them out in arena or take away on approval.

Come anytime between 10am and 5pm . We will be around.

"Consistant" is the name for Pat and Jolene at the moment. Perth Show brought them another 2 firsts and 2 reserves in the MM classes. Only one more show for our season then Jolene cane a scruffy pony again.

If you intend to enter next week's dressage practice in the LONG ARENA, as we have had little interest in this.

If not popular we will go back to SHORT ARENA TESTS.

We currently have 4 spaces left for our day rally which is being held at Lomondside Stud & Equestrian Centre next Sunday. The day will include a flatwork lesson, a trail ride around the beautiful Buchanan Castle Estate and a lunging / long reigning demo. This is open to older kids and adults. AS the new tests started on July 1st we will use

INTRO 1 (2024)
PRELIM 4 (2024)
NOVICE 6 (2024) Tests can be bought from British Dressage

MY APOLOGIES IT WILL BE NOVICE 4 (not 6 ! , 4 easier )

All of these are in the LONG ARENA 20 x 60 so everyone can practice a long arena test. Except Intros they are in 20x40 arena as usual.

£12 per test, do as many tests or as few as you want. Contact me for bank details. ENTRIES STRICTLY CLOSED SUNDAY 28th JULY 8pm

Starting 6pm with the Intros.

We're thinking of having LONG ARENA tests for Prelim and Novice. Would this be of interest to people? We would still have an Intro class in the short arena for those that work at that level.

Please let us know if you would be interested AND what night would be preferable to you.

Well ! Wasn't the Drymen Show blessed with dry and pleasant weather yesterday!!!! Just got a bit soggy in the rings. We had a good day with Jolene who has t been out this year
She and Pat excelled themselves by being In hand Champion then won her ridden class and was Res Ch there, then these two also won the Supreme MM . Long day but very satisfactory.

Tuesday 21st May starting 6.30pm with Intro C, then
Prelim12, then Novice 28.

Entries £12 per entry you can go more than once in a test if that suits you.

Correct bridle wear for horse but boots etc are allowed.
