Tour 1 - day 3… great weather for the group with 3 out of 3 days and 2 flights down to the Italian border… day 4 looks wet and Fohnic but the rest of the week looks amazing!!!!

Our customer service go-to guy, Matjaz, took a well-deserved break from the office to embark on a small adventure—competing with the Rook 4 at the 2025 edition of the Adrenalin Cup. He returned not only with a 1st place trophy in the Fun Class but also with renewed confidence in the Rook 4’s capabilities.

Reflecting on the experience, Matjaz shared:
“While I’ve flown the Rook 4 a lot recently, it’s only in real-air competitions that you truly see what a wing is made of. On the first day, I was on full bar the whole time and felt completely at ease. This is, without a doubt, the easiest Rook to fly so far.”

This kind of real-world testing only reinforces our belief that the materials and design provided by Triple Seven are truly top-tier.

With the weather starting to shut down in Sydney, some of the team went Sth yesterday looking for adventure… the forecast wasn’t looking amazing for thermals or XC, but you never know if you never go. Joel, Dean, Hazy, Justin, Big Jase and Lawrie accepted the Hike Fly Challenge of Collector…. 3 HnFs with light scratchy mix of dynamic and thermic lift… 551 vertical meters hiked and lots of fun..

The last Xc lite of 2024 was a fantastic finish to the year. Starting on the 28th Dec - 3rd of Jan, we had 6 out of 7 days flyable with 6 good Xc days… during the course, we had PBs from both the pilots and the team (flying Kozzie and a 115km triangle) with one of the pilots clocking up over 20hrs Xc during the course. Our next Xc clinic is in February with Jocky Sanderson from Feb 20-24, with places still available…

November XC lite and thermal clinic is complete. 3 out of 3 days flying with some new PBs, new skills learned and lots of fun. Great group of pilots from NSW, Vic and Qld. Next clinic will be between Dec 28-Jan 3 - still spaces available……..

Reserve Parachute repack Jig
Designed and built in Australia by the Sky Out Team. This reserve repack jig is small and lightweight (250g) and comes complete with repack pegs and offset positioning to ensure even line length throughout the line stacking process. Pegs can be stowed together with Jig when travelling so you will always be ready to repack reserves when required.

Some of the Sky Out Team got together for a little coastal XC with a beautiful flight Nth on Sydney’s Nth Beaches. We Call it “Headland Hopping” and was great to do this flight with some of the team who hadn’t done it before…. Plan was to Hike back to our start location but Pub Suck ruined this plan 🍻
