Well after a year and more than $10,000.00 spent to get a Invention Funding site up and going for Inventors, Business Start-ups, and Business ventures. We are shutting it down. We have more than 3000 members but no one except myself has posted any projects. My investors, angels, and manufacturers don't want me too but there's no since in keep paying for the site.
So as of June 1st we will close it down, unless we start to get some response. If you haven't seen the site its at http://www.inventorspath.com/

We will have a new front page with in a month. With a splash page showing what the site looks like but no real information. Then if the user wished to join, then will be taken to a registration page with the NDA as part of the registration. From there (we really didn't want to do this) but after registration you will be taken to PayPal and join for $10.00. The reason is to keep the spammers out a little. Also will keep out the auto-bots.
Then once the one time registration fee is paid your taken to your dashboard and from there you can post your invention or business idea. Or look at the post and help fund them.
This way the only ones that will see your posts are those who truly should be there.
I hope this fee doesn't scare anyone off. But it's the only way to keep it as secure as possible.

We have reached a new milestone. InventorsPath.Com has passed the 2000 member point. Although everyone is still a little worried about posting their inventions and business ideas.
We are going to make the site a Members Only site. You will have to join as a member before you can see the postings. This way it will insure everyone their ideas will be kept to the highest security with all members agreeing to the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
I feel this will help get the site up and going. If you post your idea it is covered by the NDA for all members. Also the investors, Angels, Manufacturers, and Those looking to partner with a Business are waiting for postings to start.
