Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting with our Royal Caribbean rep. It was great to chat about all the new Royal Caribbean updates. There are some great additions coming to the Caribbean itineraries! First, there will be a private beach club in Nassau. And in Mexico, Royal Caribbean is creating its own private paradise in Cozumel. I loved spending the day at Coco Cay on my Royal Caribbean cruise and am so excited about these options for people who want a relaxing beach day without having to share their beach with other cruise lines and hotel guests.

I'm always meeting and working with my travel suppliers to keep up to date on their offerings so I can pass all the knowledge on to my clients. It's just part of the concierge level planning services I offer!

Dark Universe is a completely immersive experience with cutting-edge technology and detailed environments that bring the world of Universal Monsters to life. Frankenstein, Dracula, the Werewolf and more classic monsters are all here. But don’t worry, it’s still completely family friendly with rides and experiences for all ages. There will be a monster meet and greets, rides, themed dining, exclusive merchandise, and my personal favorite, a monster makeup makeover where you can be transformed into one of your favorite monster!

We took a quick little trip to Mexico City over Mardi Gras break! CDMX has been on my list for a few years. It’s the largest city in North America (one of the top 10 in the world!) and I wanted to explore an urban Latin American city. We had so much fun!

We chose a hotel near Chapultepec Park- one thing I’ve learned after years of traveling with my kids is that they love green space for some unstructured free time. Chapultepec Park is three times the size of Central Park! There’s a zoo, historic castle on a hilltop, tons of fountains, and lots of space to run. It was the perfect spot for us and I wish we had more time to explore the park.

There’s so much history and culture in and around the city. We toured the pyramids of Teotihuacan, cruised down the river in Xochimilco, and experienced a Lucha Libra match, all things that we definitely can’t do at home! And at night we had delicious dinners.

I loved the St Regis hotel. The service was beyond fantastic and the hotel staff were patient and accomdating to us when we had to make changes due to flight issues. It’s definitely a luxury property but still very kid friendly.

After a flight cancellation, missed connection, and a surprise overnight stay in Atlanta, we have finally arrived to our Mardi Gras vacation in Mexico City! Our spirits were pretty low after the rough two days of travel, but our Virtuoso hotel has restored our spirits and energy! The St Regis was so accommodating with all the changes and welcomed us with the cutest room set up for the kids’ room and some sweet treats for both the kids and adults!

It's a me, Mario!! Super Nintendo World is one of the 5 new worlds in Epic Universe at Universal Studios Orlando and each world will have its own portal entrance to transport you into the fully immersive area.

I visited Universal Studios Hollywood this summer and experienced the Super Nintendo World there. It was so cool! Super Nintendo World in Epic Universe will be even bigger so I can't wait to see it! In addition to Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, there will also be a Donkey Kong Country with its own family roller coaster, Mine-cart Madness.

Epic Universe will open on May 22, 2025. It's going to be amazing!
