Greensburg, PA

After finishing a photo shoot out near Ligonier, Pa for a graduate from college last night, I noticed that there could be a good chance to photograph Greensburg at sunset.

While driving, the sky was much moodier than what it appears here in the photo, so I thought I could photograph the sun as it breaks out from one of the clouds. As you can see that didn't happen as a weather front was fast approaching. So fast that I only had time to get this frame in along with a couple more photos and the sun was gone.

It's all about timing, isn't it?

Bass Harbor Lighthouse

Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse is a lighthouse located within Acadia National Park in the southwest portion of Mount Desert Island, Maine, marking the entrance to Bass Harbor and Blue Hill Bay.

In 1885, the U.S. Congress appropriated $5,000 for construction of the lighthouse when it was determined that there was sufficient reason for a lighthouse at the mouth of Bass Harbor.

Reflections out at Twin Lakes in Greensburg, Pa.

I was asked this year by a couple of 4-H instructors to help assist with students that had enrolled in the photography course. A couple of weeks ago we were out at Twin Lakes in Greensburg, Pa. Reflections was out of this world that evening. The group loved the opportunity to be out there discovering their new craft. I have a feeling I will be learning as much as they will.
