The hills are alive… with a sea of purple 💜

Late summer means one thing in the Durham Dales – heather season! The rolling moorlands are starting to burst into bloom, blanketing the landscape in vibrant purple as far as the eye can see.

It’s the perfect time to lace up your boots, breathe in the fresh country air, and soak up the natural beauty of this truly magical moment.

Nature doesn’t wait, and neither should you.
