Disneyland, in Anaheim California, is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this summer and has just released a great ticket offer which is combinable with hotel stay packages.

For a 3 day 1 park per day tickets, the rate is as low as $120 per person per day and for a 4 day 1 park per day tickets it's as low as $100 per person per day. But that's not all. Never have I ever seen a stage show production so well done outside of Broadway than The Tale of Moana on the Disney Treasure. Photos not allowed during the performance of course, but it’s a must see. Trust me.

Never have I ever visited St Thomas, in the US Virgin Islands. Like other nearby islands, St Thomas is very mountainous with gorgeous clear blue water. Highlights of the visit are the very interesting Pirate Museum, and the Skyride to Paradise Point. A worthy port to explore.

Never have I ever had a Mixology class at the S**t Cat Lounge on the Disney Treasure. And this class wins the award having the highest alcohol content. Never have I ever ridden Tron…and still haven’t! But some of us did. I’ve also never purchased the adorable motion and music Carousel popcorn bucket, but one of us did. Never have I ever ridden Tiana’s Bayou Adventure…I’m glad I did! It’s just lovely and fun. Never have I even taken a photo of a couple of the Grands in the famous Mickey sculpture. A great couple of days at the World are done. See you tomorrow for lots of never have I evers onboard the Disney Treasure!

Never have I ever had the famous Violet Sake in Japan at Epcot. Tasty! Here’s a tip. Get the kids meal! It’s often more than enough. Not sure if this is a ‘never have I ever’ but it’s been at least 30 years since my last visit to SeaBase Aquarium and it’s worth a look. Never have I ever had dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel. Great food and excellent service. Never have I ever seen the completed Walt Statue at Epcot. It’s a nice and moving touch. This isn’t a never have I ever, but if you haven’t had the fresh caramel popcorn from the Werther’s store in Germany, you’re missing out. I don’t even like caramel popcorn, but this is a must do. Trust me. A word about the bags. In 2023 at Destination D Lug ( a favorite company of mine), showed prototypes of some special little bags they’d be releasing. I’d seen a couple released for special festivals but not the Chip bag I’ve been waiting for. I was surprised to see the Minnie bag displayed in Norway, which I hadnt seen shared anywhere, so checked Canada which is where Chip was supposed to eventually be released. Tada! Made my day. (Not that I need another bag…)

‘Never have I ever’ day one! I’ve never stayed at the beautiful Bay Lake Towers before, which is part of the Contemporary Resort, and is as close to Magic Kingdom as possible. These lovely rooms are part of the Disney Vacation Club program so you have the added Bonus of little kitchenettes in the smaller rooms, and full on kitchens, living area, washer dryer, etc., in the larger rooms.
We also had a delightful first time dinner at Ohana at the Polynesian Resort. This meal is served family style and you’ll get full feast with their amazing bread with honey butter, dumplings, chicken wings, steak, sweet & sour chicken, shrimp and much more. Save room for the amazing bread pudding!!
‘Never I evers’ are all well and good but there’s something to be said for looking forward to certain traditions… such as a stop at Trader Sams and the Outer Rim bar. All of this without getting near a theme park!
