Hello Lovely People,
today is the 22nd day of a detox I'm doing, with another 3 months to go. I am already feeling the difference and am enjoying each day's newness level of health and wellbeing.
I realised this year that eating out and not knowing what exactly was going into my meals was leading me into short cuts with my own food preparation too. I tried the carnivore diet, a mild version, and did feel great when eating good quality organic beef and lamb. Years ago I noticed the difference with chicken, which had been my preferred protein previously, with the switch over from store bought to organic. The organic didn't have the same taste, which made me realise there must have been the use of lots of chemicals with the store bought.
So back to similar meals that I used to be on 30+ years ago... organic veggies, lentils, chickpeas, etc. with nuts and seeds.
I'm feeling lighter and have more energy now.
Why I am telling you this? Well my intention is to offer an amazing retreat in Bali next year and I want to be at my absolute best. And to share the highest energy with everyone who joins me for it.
It will be 5-7 days, set in the beautiful energies of the Isle of the Gods, Bali. It will be away from the main tourist centers and will embrace some of the traditional Balinese culture.
