2015 is almost over, and a brand new year is almost here. As part of our ongoing series displaying our time covering the Forest City Comicon we put together this compilation video.
Full disclosure, Chazon Creative had never covered a live event of the scope of the Comicon before. 2 weeks of pre-planning, and a day of equipment check later and we walked away from this event with a much different understanding of the dos and don'ts of comicon media coverage than when we walked into that convention center at 6:30 on October 18th.
We tried to cover everything. And at the end of the day, as sure as all the event staff and organizers were exhausted, we realized we still missed entire swathes of the con because we were covering something else. And that, somehow seems to encapsulate the con experience. There's just so much ground to cover; so many awesome booths/vendors, guests and sights and sounds. And in the end, that's what we tried to convey with this video.
Thankfully, next year's Forest City Comicon will be held over two exciting days!! So it's going to be bigger, and better than it already was, so get ready Canada!!!
