Currently experiencing a vacation hangover 😅 I have so many pictures and videos - here’s some that I grabbed 🤣

We are back on the East Coast and truly had the best vacation! Dare I say I think our kids were the perfect ages for this trip?! Did they argue about everything? Yes! But they truly enjoyed it, from the magic of Disney to the exploring of Hawaii! Dylan and I also loved it and as always, I recommend bringing the grandparents along to have more hands on deck, more memories they get to make with each other AND mom and dad can run away every once in a while! 🥰

Update from Aulani!! We have checked in, done the lazy river a solid 20 times, enjoyed pool parties and dance parties! Yesterday we ventured out to Kualoa Ranch to see where some scenes from different movies and shows were filmed like Jurassic Park, King Kong, 50 first dates and so many more!!

Pictures do not even do it justice. It’s so beautiful here!! ☀️

I’ll share more after we arrive home. I’m trying to just enjoy our family time!!

Snacking around Disneyland!
Magic Asparagus (chocolate covered pretzel rod), churro, rice krispy, Tigger Tail (marshmallows covered in caramel and orangey chocolate) and our favorite salty snack - POPCORN!!

MagicBands make life easier, no flipping through your phone for everyone’s tickets and no fumbling for cards! They also do fun things like light up when you scan into lightning lanes and on some rides!!

MagicBands can be used for scanning into the parks, party tickets, lightning lanes, room key, and charging to your room (adults only, if you want!). It is linked to your My Disney Experience, so anything you have linked there is linked to your MagicBand!

I’ve had the same one for over 5 years, so yes you can reuse them!! BUT you cannot transfer them to someone else (it is linked to YOU).

My family loves their MagicBands!! ✨✨ but if you’re looking to save some money, Key to the World cards are FREE! Just make sure the cast member writes everyone’s names on them! 🙃

16 years ago!!!

It was my first trip since I was a child and we made so many core memories that trip! It was my mom, my stepdad, 2 sisters and one of my stepbrothers. Back in the day of paper fastpasses and sprinting (while walking of course) across the park to grab your next fastpass 😂 As the true eldest daughter, I took this job very seriously. Before we had phones to distract or take a bazillion pictures - I think this may be one of the 2 pics I have from that trip 🤣 (and neither have my mom in them, so moms - get in the dang picture!)

My favorite memory was at the end of the night we were riding Tower of Terror until park closed which was literally getting off, going around and getting RIGHT back in line 🤣 Our parents left us and told us we BETTER catch the bus back to our off property hotel - they’re very limited on timing - well we BARELY made it onto that bus but the laps on Tower of Terror were worth it!

I left loving Disney World. The hustle. The fun. The details. The storytelling. The memories.

I would return soon after as a chaperone for my sister’s chorus group, I had graduated college and was teaching at our local middle school. I lead a group of girls all around the parks and we had a blast!

Dylan and I visited Disney a couple of years later and I got him hooked as well. We even honeymooned in Disney World 🥰

Then it’s been a slippery slope since then obviously 😂🤣
