🥾 The one thing I ABSOLUTELY wanted to do on my actual birthday was hike Lion’s Head. With an elevation of 2,195 feet above sea level this was the MOST challenging hike I’ve ever done….and I ONLY went to the second highest point 😬.

🥾Steep trails, climbing ladders and rock scrambling was worth it for some of the most amazing 360 degrees of Cape Town. I’m blessed to put this in my archive of memories.

What a beautiful year in travel it’s been, God is good! I SAFELY flew more than 35,000 miles, across 3 continents and ate myself into a few food comas.

Some of my trip highlights include:

👑Sand Dunning in Dubai 🇦🇪

👑Exploring pink sand (again) in Bermuda 🇧🇲

👑 Visiting the Paint Mines in Denver

👑 Eating lunch as the fish swam around me in Belize 🇧🇿

👑Searching for blue iguanas in Aruba 🇦🇼

👑Making my own lipstick in Charlotte

👑 ‘Playing’ with a monkey and exploring Grand Etang and Annandale Falls in Grenada 🇬🇩

More than 15 years ago I started a vacation account and had money automatically transferred to it with every paycheck. Because travel is an investment, I still have this account and I continue to make monthly contributions to it essentially like I treat any other monthly bill.
