For over two years, Trishia has enjoyed weekly outings with her Driving Miss Daisy companion driver, Louise. Following a stroke, these regular trips have become much more than shopping excursions – they are a lifeline to independence, choice, and connection.
When Louise learned that Trishia hadn't seen her two sisters in West Yorkshire for a long time, she helped make what seemed impossible possible. Together with her family, they planned a special reunion that brought three sisters back together for a day filled with smiles, hugs, coffee, cake, and precious memories.
From singing along to favourite 70s music on the journey to sharing treasured moments face-to-face, the day was a powerful reminder that meaningful connections can be restored with the right support.
