Learn a few key phrases in the local language!

While many Europeans speak English, saying “hello,” “thank you,” or “please” in the local language goes a long way. It shows respect and opens doors to more authentic interactions—plus, locals appreciate the effort! A little language goes a long way in making connections. 🌍💬

Try apps like Duolingo, Babbel, Memrise or Rosetta Stone to introduce yourself to a new language before traveling abroad.

Today marks my 8th year as a travel advisor and I am both honored and humbled to receive these two awards! 🎉

Out of 10,000 agents I was the #35 advisor for earnings, #40 for sales and #10 for top agencies!

I am beyond grateful to everyone who supports my business whether it’s using my services or recommending me to your friends and family- it truly means the world to me. It’s a grind to build something from the ground up but it’s been an amazing adventure 🥰

I’ve been back from Cabo for almost a week and the level of busyness I have is next level!!!

My current turnaround time for new quotes is 72 hours. My current clients are always top of my list so please excuse my slower than normal quoting time.

Yesterday Southwest Airlines dropped some news that had many people up in arms and frustrated. Southwest provides many routes for those of us here in Denver andd all over the US as well so I thought I’d share the FACTS:

🧳 End of Free Checked Bags:

Southwest will no longer offer free checked bags to some passengers. These changes are effective May 28, 2025 and apply to flights booked on or after this date. (If you book a flight prior to May 28, these changes won’t apply.)

Exemptions:

* Rapid Rewards A-List Preferred membersand those traveling on Business Select fares will continue to get two free checked bags.

* A-List members and other select customers will continue to get one free checked bag.

* Southwest Credit Card members will continue to get one free checked bag.

*Customers who don’t qualify for free checked bags will be charged for their first and second checked bags.

🎫 Basic Economy Fares:

Southwest is introducing a “basic” economy ticket that doesn’t allow for free changes. This will likely mean cheaper flight cost for these flights but less flexiblity for any changes.

✈️ Flight Credits:

Flight credits issued for tickets purchased on or after May 28, 2025, will expire one year or earlier from the date of ticketing, depending on the fare type.

I know many of us fly Southwest so these changes are going to affect which airlines we choose to fly.

Lately online I have seen some absurd travel info and “advice”, completely false statements and horrible recommendations from people who are not in the travel business.

It makes me nervous that others may be actually listening to these people!!
