There's no shortage of exploring to do on Harbour Island, and all you need is a golf cart to get around. ☀️

We're lucky that some of our favorite local treasures are just minutes away from Oceanhill, from chic boutiques and art galleries to mouthwatering restaurants, tried-and-true grocers, and idyllic paths to pink sand beaches. Think:

- Pigly Wigly Food Store
- The Dunmore Hotel & Resort

Everything is a short walk or five-minute golf cart ride away - depending on golf cart and chicken traffic!

As our guest, we'll guide you through securing a golf cart so you're well-equipped to discover all the best the island has to offer. ✨

Hard hats today, pool days coming soon.

Our 20'x30' oasis heated lap pool is designed for everything from lounging on the sun shelf to morning laps (with room for flip turns!) and plenty of room for long afternoons poolside. For a true island experience, a private outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after a day at the beach or a swim.

With outdoor dining just steps away, this space already feels like it's shaping up to be the heart of Oceanhill. 🩵

Why Harbour Island?

Stuart’s connection began years ago through his family’s time managing a resort on the island. While Mary’s love for the Bahamas started during a study abroad on Eleuthera, where slower days, salt air, and a deep sense of adventure left a lasting impression.

With so many personal ties to this place, it felt inevitable that Harbour Island would become part of our family’s story in a more permanent way. When we discovered a paused construction project, we immediately saw its potential. It was an opportunity to complete something unfinished and to put our own stamp on a piece of Harbour Island. A home designed for gathering and for embracing the island lifestyle.

What began as a dream quickly became Oceanhill, and the rest, as they say, is history. We can’t wait to share more as this special place continues to take shape. 🌴

A quick trip to Oceanhill Harbour Island to check in on progress... and of course made some time for the beach. 🏝️

There's so much happening behind the scenes at Oceanhill, and tons have been accomplished since our last visit! Railings are going in, tiling and trim are nearing completion, walls are being painted, and excavation for the exterior hardscape and perimeter wall is officially underway.

Oceanhill is coming together as a seven-bedroom retreat designed for laid-back luxury living, with a main house and guest cottage centered around an oasis pool.

We anticipate construction wrapping up in June or July, with plans to welcome our first guests this fall.

We can't wait to welcome you to our home away from home, located just steps from Pink Sand Beach. 🩵 Stay tuned for more updates on this special island getaway.
