Finally built out my dream book nook! I’ve imagined sitting up in a swinging egg chair reading a good book in the loft since before we even broke ground on the A-frame. Thanks to Mars & his seemingly endless DIY skills & to the beautifully simple cable railing from , this is now my favorite spot in the house! Now, I’d love any good book recs! It’s been a minute since we’ve been asked to share our story, so I was really excited to dive back into how we got to where we are and where we plan to go. Reflecting was a helpful reminder about how important it is to keep chasing what sets our souls on fire.

“What I’m most proud of is that the dream is still alive. Through every challenge, every shift in direction, and every season of life, we’ve kept creating. We’ve taken risks, adapted, and pushed forward even when the path wasn’t clear. Today, I listened to a song we’re recording in the studio and my eyes filled with tears-not because the song was perfect, but because I’m still here, doing the thing. The younger versions of ourselves would be so proud that we never stopped.

That, to me, is everything. To keep creating, to keep dreaming, to still be living a life filled with curiosity and expression…”

Feeling happy today looking back on all of the memories over the last few years, and realizing the best moments were probably when things were the simplest. You don’t need much for happiness. You need those you love around you, and for us, some gas in the tank. 😉

Our little Everly is 10 ♥️

A decade of sunshine and love. The little girl who made me a mother is growing up and I have so many mixed feelings surrounding that.

I’m sad to say goodbye to the little girl who yelled out our window “Hi, I’m three and I’m Everly what’s your name?!” to every person walking down the sidewalk. The little girl who thought she was a dragon for a solid three years. The little girl who promised me that unicorns were real and she would find one in a forest to show me.

She’s still silly, but more reserved and thoughtful. She’s helpful and is incredibly patient with her wild little brother. She’s everything and more that I dreamed a daughter would be.

Today, I feel like she is so big, but later I’ll look back and 10 will be little. So, I’ll just take extra time to look at her little freckles and lanky body and crooked smile and embrace that this will all be over and I’ll want to return to 10.

I love you my sweet, funny little girl! ♥️

My littlest Valentine told me I was his “best best best girl” and gave me tons of kisses 🥹 saving this memory for future me.

Some days I wake up and it still just doesn’t feel quite real. Beyond thankful it is though.

Our journey to get here has been a wild one. One that came with many blessings, and some unforeseen challenges.

Nonetheless- we press on, because it’s our dream. And dreams are worth fighting for.

They may challenge us.
They may evolve.
They may continue to take shape in each new day.

But that’s okay- that’s part of the beauty in it.
