One of the highlights of our time in Sutherland was a visit to the world-famous Southern African Large Telescope (SALT). Set against the vast Karoo landscape, this remarkable facility offers a fascinating glimpse into the mysteries of our universe. ✨

An inside tour of the observatory provided a unique opportunity to learn about the incredible science, technology, and discoveries that take place here. Standing beside one of the largest optical telescopes in the Southern Hemisphere was an unforgettable experience and a true reminder of how much there is still to explore beyond our world. 🌍⭐

After a wonderful journey through the heart of the Karoo, our travelers arrived safely in Sutherland, ready for one of the highlights of the tour. 🚍❤️

As the sun set and darkness settled over the Karoo, we experienced the incredible wonder of Sutherland’s famous night skies. With little light pollution and countless stars shining above us, it was truly a breathtaking stargazing experience. ✨🔭

🌄🚍 On the road to Sutherland!

The Karoo is putting on a spectacular show as we make our way towards the charming town of Sutherland. Wide-open spaces, endless horizons, and beautiful scenery are making every kilometer of the journey a pleasure. ❤️

Of course, no road trip is complete without a delicious break, and today we stopped at Kroonplaas Restaurant Padstal for lunch and a chance to stretch our legs before continuing our adventure. ☕🥪

With great company, beautiful views, and plenty of excitement for what lies ahead, the journey is proving to be just as memorable as the destination. ✨
