The Wild Dog 4x4® Winch / Safety Damper is designed to mitigate rope recoil in the event of a rope failure. Although such failures are infrequent, this damper ensures that the rope descends safely to the ground should an incident occur.
Constructed from robust double-layer denier material, the Wild Dog 4x4® Winch / Safety Damper includes a pocket for sand to provide additional weight. It also features a specialized webbing strap that prevents the damper from sliding down the line, addressing the issue where the rope may pass through the winch damper without being secured during a failure. Additionally, a reflective strip enhances visibility.
