Our Future Leaders Youth Tourism programme took us to Masiyile High in Khayelitsha to workshop with a very engaging group of Grade 11 Tourism learners.The future of our industry looks bright as long as we keep encouraging learners and sharing our experiences with them, thank you to Lindsey Killops Gibaud from Big Tree Marketing and Love Cape Town for driving this initiative it's such an honour to be part of this panel.

The whales have not been shy, they are entertaining both locals and visitors alike. We have a no of land based sites in the Western Cape where you can enjoy watching these graceful giants of the ocean or test your sea legs and join a whaleboat cruise.

Yesterday we celebrated women in our industry at a really beautiful gathering of entrepreneurs hosted by Love Cape Town and Seven Sisters Vineyards. There were a number of inspirational speakers sharing their stories of building and flourishing, good music setting the tone for the day. I was particularly inspired by Vivienne who leads the 7 Sisters Team, take that drive out to Stellenbosch and go and experience their wines and listen to their success story. A beautiful venue for weddings or events

Thank you to the amazing team at Two Oceans Aquarium for not giving up on this not so little guy anymore, Kai is now happily swimming where the tides are taking him and will hopefully live out his life like every turtle should and grow into a ripe old age.
