“This is the BEST day of my life!” exclaimed Hanne (30), who travelled with her parents from Norway to Cape Town and Namibia in March 2026. And Hanne didn't only say this once 🥰
Such feedback is the sweetest music 🎶 🧡

The hike from Smitswinkel Bay View Point to Paulsberg is one of several stunning trails inside the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.
It’s a little rollercoaster of floral beauty, good exercise and magnificent views across False Bay.

Paulsberg is the highest peak inside the reserve (367 metres above sea level) and drops dramatically towards the sea above Venus Pool.
The Cape floral kingdom is on maximum display here and will enthuse any anthophile 🌸🌺💚

Food security is more than just having enough to eat—it’s about reliable access to safe, nutritious food that sustains healthy lives. In a world capable of producing more than enough, millions still go hungry due to inequality and fragile food systems. Strengthening food security means supporting local producers and building resilient supply chains.

When communities can consistently feed themselves, they unlock better health, education, and economic stability—laying the foundation for a stronger, more equitable future.

Masiphumelele Creative Hub has planted a communal vegetable garden in Sunnydale. For ZAR 7,000 per year, you can help to expand it.

Exhilarating 4x4 excursion to Sandwich Harbour, a breathtaking, remote location where massive desert dunes plunge directly into the Atlantic Ocean. The Black-backed jackals by the sea were unfazed by the cars. They come to rest and cool off in the cold ocean breeze.

This dramatic area also includes vibrant, pink-hued salt pans, which form part of the Walvis Bay Saltworks, a massive solar evaporation operation.

An inaccessible, jaw-dropping destination located in Namibia's Namib-Naukluft National Park.

Etosha is one of the largest national parks in Africa and abundant with wildlife!
It's late March and the animals thriving after months of good rain. We saw huge herds of zebra, wildebeest (gnu), springbok and elephants. A precious sighting was a journey of 24 giraffes (!) and two cheetahs on the hunt – what a treat! Ground squirrels kept popping up everywhere and charmed us to bits 😍

The Himba is a semi-nomadic people living in northern Namibia, known for their traditional culture and red-ochre skin coloring. They are cattle herders who maintain traditional lifestyles, including unique jewelry and complex hairstyles.

They greeted us with such warmth and hospitality and clearly had fun teaching us how to greet. Our guide, Melody (wearing a yellow dress), was from the same tribe. She had gone to school and learned English. She runs a little school for the Himba children two days a week.

Big news from our side!

My business partner from has been awarded the Quality Entrepreneur 2025 distinction by Gävleborg County. The certification is issued by Tryggval, a nationwide Swedish organisation that recognises carefully selected companies meeting exceptionally high standards for quality, professionalism, reliability, and sound business practices.

In the award statement, they also highlighted something special:

“An important support in the business has been the business partner Pernille Stallemo, whose commitment and local knowledge contribute to safe and well-planned experiences on international tours.”

I’m truly honored to be part of this journey and to help create memorable travel experiences together.

And speaking of journeys… we have another exciting milestone coming up.

In November, Anders and I will take our very first group to the Seychelles — and we still have 4 places left.

Would you like to join us for this unforgettable adventure? 🌴 🏊🏼‍♀️ 🏝

During the COVID-19 pandemic (MCH) launched soup kitchens to support vulnerable families.
At the height of the crisis, they prepared and distributed more than 1,000 meals every day to children who had lost access to school lunches when schools were closed.

Today, MCH runs a thriving community garden that continues to play a vital role in supporting those in need. The hub also provides training to community members and local schools, teaching them how to plant, grow, and maintain their own vegetable gardens.

Individuals, companies, and organisations are invited to adopt a garden strip for R7,000 per year. Join their mission and be part of a growing movement that promotes self-sustainability, food security, and healthy living: https://www.masicreativehub.org/
