The UK has introduced a new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system — similar to the US ESTA

The rule of thumb: If you don’t need a visa to visit the UK for short stays, you will likely need an ETA instead, *IF you are not a UK citizen or British Passport Holder*
