Hey there! We see a lot of new faces around and it’s about time we re-introduce ourselves.
Many of you already know our love story. It all started when Sanja & Stu met in South Africa several years back and embarked on a wild adventure, in an overland truck throughout Southern Africa. Fast forward to 2018, we kicked off AfriVenture with one goal in mind: to offer Authentic African Experiences that make unforgettable memories. To us, it’s not just about ticking boxes on a list; it’s about truly seeing, feeling, and embracing each destination. Travel is all about the people you meet, the cultures you experience, the adventures you embark on, and the memories you bring back home.
• Stuart Rice: Born in South Africa, qualified CA but also safari guide with a wealth of experience in luxury lodges and overland adventures. Always on the lookout for the next big adventure.
• Sanja Rice: Born in Switzerland, grew up in Sri Lanka, lived in the US, and now calls Africa home. With an International Relations background, she’s always been an avid traveller who fell head over heels for Africa.
We’ve trekked across East & Southern Africa uncovering hidden gems, and getting to know our guests’ wants and needs to craft a trip of a lifetime is our main focus. Everyone is unique, and we believe in tailoring experiences to all comfort levels—from the most luxurious safari camps to the more affordable options in Africa. Real People.
