Update on making Ashante's dream come true.
Catch & Relax St. Helena Bay is where Ashante and her family will be going 2 weeks from now. The owners Juandre and her hubby are such amazing people and when I asked, they immediately said yes.
Shenaaz from Saffron & Vanilla, a halaal restaurant in St Helena offered to host them for dinner one evening.
Oppikaai (the most amazing seafood restaurant right on the harbour, offered a dinner voucher.
Another kind lady offered to cook lunch for them while they are there too.
An amazing gentlemen from PTA offered to use his timeshare points to book accommodation, 2 other ladies also offered accommodation, so this post really highlighted how many kind people exist.
We are finalising transport and logistics now, but Kaashief from Kids-can Cancer Foundation who brought this to our attention will be driving them from CT to St Helena and possibly staying with them to ensure that there is an emergency plan if needed.
So yes we still need contributions towards the transport and some groceries as it's a self catering house but the point of the whole story is that this village will always come through.
Thank you everyone for making this dream a reality.
I almost forgot, Christ Culture Church who are always eager to support, has arranged a beach day in CT for Ashante. They will take them out for the day and include lunch.
Don't you just love how many kind people walk among us?
