🎉November 2025 Zambia Migration Tour. 🎈
- Here is a short overview of our annual Zambia Migration tour! 🦅
➡️This tour goes to 2 of the best National Parks in Zambia namely, Liuwa Plain NP 🦬 and Kasanka NP 🦇
We meet in Botswana and then travel to Zambia, 2 days @ Kabula Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi river.
Perfect spot for Sunset Cruise and Tiger Fishing! 🐟
We leave Kabula and travel to Liuwa Plain NP. 3 days of observing 2nd largest Wildebeest Migration. 🦬
Then on to Kafue NP 🐆, stopover at Roy's Camp on the Kafue River. From Roy’s to Kasanka NP for 2 days, to see the Largest Mammal Migration in the world, over 10million Straw cooled Bats! 🌍
Travel back via Lusaka and Vic Falls! 🥳

Kasane is a lovely town. Buzzling with Safari enthusiasm. This old Baobab is a National Monument located at the Police station. It Served as post office, labour recruitment site, “court” and prison. 2 awesome days with lots to do and Mosi oa Tunya (Vic falls) just a hour away!

Late afternoon arrival at one of our favourite stopovers going to and from Maun.
Camelthorn Farmstead Campsite.
Situated on the Makgadi National Park boundary. This is a great spot with a very nice stands and a nice viewing deck over the Boteri River inside the park. At least 30 Hippos late afternoon and a few very big Nile Corocodiles!
Unfortunately we missed the Lions and Hyenas making their rounds yesterday!

Stockpoort border Lodge. On our way to meet clients in Maun for a epic Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park tour…not to mention Vic Falls and White River rafting on the mighty Zambezi! This is our preferred stop over on the way up or down from Botswana. A quiet Saturday but got the whole lounge and restaurant to ourselves. Go Bokke!! 🥳

🌴✨Fun Facts About the Magical Okavango Delta✨🌿

Hidden deep in Botswana lies one of the world’s most incredible natural wonders — the Okavango Delta! Here’s why this place is like nowhere else on Earth:

🌊 It’s a river with no ocean!
The Okavango River flows into a desert instead of the sea, forming a lush inland delta right in the heart of the Kalahari.

🗓️ It floods in the dry season!
Water from Angola travels 1,200 km and takes 6 months to arrive — so the Delta floods when the rest of Botswana is dry!

🐘 Wildlife Wonderland
Home to the Big Five (and then some!), it’s one of the best places on Earth to see elephants, lions, hippos, crocodiles, and over 400 bird species. 🦅🦓🦁

🛶 Locals use dugout canoes called mokoros
These traditional canoes glide silently through the reeds — and yes, sometimes elephants walk right through the water next to them!

💧 A natural water filter
The Delta’s wetlands are so clean that the water is drinkable straight from the source (though always ask your guide first 😉).

🦁 Lions that SWIM!
Lions here have adapted to hunt and move through flooded channels — talk about wild!
