Good morning Parents. 🎵🎶
This week we are learning about Music!

Did you know?
🎵 Music is a language that people all over the world can enjoy and understand.

🥁 The drum is one of the oldest musical instruments and has been used for thousands of years.
🎹 A piano has 88 keys – 52 white keys and 36 black keys.

🎻 The violin is one of the smallest instruments in the string family, while the double bass is one of the largest.

🎺 Instruments can be grouped into four families: strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.

🎤 Singing is also a musical skill, and our voices are considered musical instruments too!

🎶 Listening to music can help improve memory, concentration, and mood.

We look forward to a fun-filled week of singing, dancing, exploring instruments, and making music together!

Welcome to June!
A warm welcome to all our families as we begin a brand new month.
This week, our theme is Child Protection, and it is especially meaningful as South Africa is also observing National Child Protection Week.

This exciting and important theme helps children learn about safety in many areas of their lives, including road safety, fire safety, water safety, personal safety, stranger awareness, and identifying trusted adults who can help keep them safe.
Through fun activities, stories, discussions, and play, we will be teaching our little ones valuable life skills that help them stay safe, confident, and informed.

"Every child deserves a safe childhood, a protected future, and a voice that is heard."
We look forward to a wonderful week of learning and growing together as we empower our children with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe.
Wishing everyone a happy and successful start to June!

Good morning parents
Welcome to the last week of Autumn, Winter is almost here! ❄️
This week our theme is Pollution.

We will be teaching the children about the different kinds of pollution:

Land pollution – litter and waste on the ground
Water pollution – dirty rivers, dams, and oceans
Air pollution – smoke and harmful gases in the air
Noise pollution – very loud sounds that can hurt our ears and disturb people and animals

We will also be learning how recycling helps keep our Earth clean and healthy. By reusing paper, plastic, glass, and tins, we can reduce waste and help protect nature. 🌍♻️

Some Facts;
A plastic bottle can take over 400 years to break down.
Recycling 1 glass bottle can save enough energy to power a light bulb for hours.
Paper can be recycled several times before it becomes too weak to use again.
Loud noises can scare animals and even affect their hearing.
Turning off taps while brushing your teeth helps save water.
We look forward to a fun and educational week with the children! 😊

Good Good Morning. Welcome to May.
Our theme for this week is Mammals.

The biggest mammal in the world is the Blue whale. It can grow up to about 30 metres long (that’s longer than a bus!) and can weigh as much as 180 tons.

The smallest mammals are the Etruscan shrew (the lightest) and the Bumblebee bat (the smallest by size). These tiny animals are so small they can fit in the palm of your hand!.

Welcome to another short week. Hope everyone had a lovely long weekend.

This weeks theme is about birds.

No matter what yesterday was like, birds always start the day with a song. 🎶🎵

Good Morning. This weeks theme is Reptiles and Dinosaurs. Super fun theme for our kiddies.

Dino Facts That Wow!
• Some dinosaurs swallowed rocks to help them digest food! These are called gastroliths—basically a built-in tummy blender 😄
• The Tyrannosaurus rex had teeth the size of bananas 🍌—but it couldn’t chew! It just tore and swallowed big chunks.
• The long-necked Brachiosaurus had nostrils on top of its head—like built-in snorkels!
• Some dinosaurs, like Microraptor, had four wings and could glide between trees like a feathery superhero 🦸‍♂️
• Dinosaur fossils have been found on every continent—even icy Antarctica ❄️
• The Stegosaurus had a brain about the size of a walnut… but its body was as big as a bus! 😅
